Policy

Mission – To provide safe, clean and enjoyable accommodation for all our guests.

Payment – Payment of your accommodation(s) including boat(s) and dock(s) is due upon arrival.  You are welcome to inspect our facilities prior to check-in/payment.  Payment is by Interac debit, Visa, MasterCard or Cash. Check in deposit will be refund by check out if there are no violation regulation.
 
Check-in Time – At 2 pm on Sundays for cottage, trailer or apartment rental.  At 1 pm for campsites. Please do not expect your accommodation to be ready earlier.  Your accommodation status will be provided upon registration at the office.  If your reservation is not claimed by 6 pm and unless prior arrangements have been made the accommodation can be re-let.

Check-out Time – 9 am for cottages, trailer or apartment, 11am for campsites.

Cancellations – Deposit will be refunded, less a $100 administration fee, with 60 days notice prior to reservation date.  Refunds, less $100, with less than 60 days notice will be dependent on re letting of the accommodation.

Extra Persons – There are a maximum number of persons permitted per site/cottage/apartment. The number is determined by fire regulation and the water systems.  See rate sheet for details.

Visitors Are to register at the office upon arrival.  Fees and behavior are the responsibility of the Host.  No visitors dogs.

Quiet Time – is 11 pm to 8 am. Noisy parties and profane language will not be tolerated at any time.

Dog Policy – By prior agreement – non aggressive dogs are permitted with a charge $20/day or $100/week.  Dogs must be kept quiet and under control at all times.  “Clean up” by the dogs owner is mandatory.  No dogs in the apartment or trailer.

Parking – is by approval in designated areas only.

Phone Calls – Emergency messages will be transmitted immediately upon receipt.  Routine messages will be transmitted as soon as convenient.

Garbage – should be minimized by recycling and burning (in site fire pits only).  Acceptable recyclable material is to be placed in Blue Box or clear bags. Non recyclable material in a black bag.

Docks – The primary purpose of the docks are for the mooring and servicing of customers boats, as such the docks can be very busy as well as dangerous.  Activities such as fishing and swimming from the docks will be permitted whenever possible, but at times it may be necessary to limit these and other activities.  All users of the docks are required to behave in a safe manner at all times.  Children must be accompanied by an adult and non swimmers should wear a life jacket.

Pool – The swimming pool is for the use of LANG’S guests and registered visitors.  Specific regulations are posted in the pool area.

Boats and Motors – Rental will require the signing of a rental agreement.  Canadian renters require a Boaters Competency Card.  All regular weekly rentals finish at 6pm on Sunday.  Minimum age for renting and operation of a boat and motor is 18 years.

Gasoline – Not to be stored in and around cottages.  It should be kept either inside vehicle or boat.

Fish Cleaning and Freezing – Facilities are provided for these activities, they are not to be carried out in the cottages / apartment.

Alcohol – Ontario Liquor Law permits consumption only at your cottage/apartment/trailer site.

Vehicles – Speed limits within the camp is 10km/hr (5 mph).  No ATV’s, dirt bikes, or “anti-social” PWC’s.

Please understand that these policies are for your protection and enjoyment, breaking them can be cause for eviction.  The Management of LANG’S Family Resort is not responsible for missing articles or accidents.
